About Me!

My name is Michael Stowers.   Dark Raven Media Group is my online presence and a dream of a hopeful future.  I have a passion about all types of Digital Media from Graphic Design to Music to Film and Video.   It is this passion that lead   me to attend Full Sail University where I graduated with an Associates of Science in Film.  Right out of college I started as an intern for a company called     W5 Creative where I assisted the media department.  This is where I truly enjoyed Video Editing.  When my internship was up I was brought in as a contract employee as a Final Cut Pro Editor.  Clients I’ve worked on projects for include w5 Creative, Christopher Group, Caffe Ritazza, The Compass Group, Carl’s Jr and Hardess, Mitsubishi TV, Country Financial, EBGAMES, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, and ADP.

I have a passion for movie making and the whole film universe.  I am currently working with a friend on writing a script that will hopefully go into production.  On the side of that I am currently writing multiple scripts and a novel but its becoming a slow process as its being done on my free time.  But hopefully I will get them finished so I can pursue my true passion; film making.

I also have a passion in design.  I work in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash.  I have a creative mind and I’m always looking for ways of making digital media cool looking.  It all comes down to experimentation.  I have experience in Web design and Print Design.

I’m also currently experimenting in the 3D World.  You can see some of the artwork I’ve done in the Artwork Gallery.  Its a long process because 3D takes a while to render on home computers mixed with me seeing new stuff every time I open a scene to work on.  But I believe this is a good thing as each time I can make it better.  I’m also experimenting with animation but really have gotten that far into it.
